Description: Now & Then is the story of Jack Brooks (name subject to change), a widower who lives with his adopted teenage daughter Carol in a world reeling from the effects of a global pandemic. As the story progresses, players will witness the chain of events that led to Jack adopting Carol and see how they became a real family before the collapse of civilized society.
Inspired by Stephen King's The Stand and numerous zombie films and books, Now & Then is a saga about survivors learning to embrace life in all its forms.
While the present is filled with intense moments - the Brooks family struggles with the challenges of the "new reality", including bandits, the infected and dwindling resources - memories of the past open a window into their old daily life, where Jack was just learning to be a father to a teenage girl.
Add. information: As I understand, the author made his daughter adopted solely because of the requirements of various Western sites where incest is prohibited. For the English version there is a mod that changes all the dialogues so that the daughter becomes his own, I’m not sure whether the translator translated the original text or changed it to his own daughter.
