Description: In the third year of the Taisho era, Hachiroku, the Railsoid of the flagship steam locomotive model 8620 produced by the Imperial Railways, was decommissioned with the advent of the Great Preservation era, caused by the advent of new engines - Aerocrafts, and after the disbandment of the ImRW, it was acquired along with the locomotive by Migita Taito.
However, due to the effects of a long-ago accident, Hachiroku's functional memory was damaged and she was unable to complete the restoration of the 8620. Frustrated by this, Taito disabled her, and Hachiroku fell into a long sleep.
Time has passed. It is the fifty-fourth year of the Showa era. The main character, Sotetsu, returning home to save his second hometown, Ohitoyo, accidentally awakens Hachiroka and becomes its owner. Together they take on the revival of 8620.
A reworked version of the original Maitetsu, including content from both the original game and its console versions, as well as full-fledged continuations of the routes of all heroines.
