However, life made its own adjustments and after Megumi’s unexpected proposal, he decided not to rush. The proposed deal looked very tempting (and at the same time, even shocking), as did the opening prospects…
You can finish describing the plot and move on to the conclusion – power over someone weaker (or the illusion thereof), coupled with permissiveness, can very often awaken very dark sides of human nature, since the desire to succumb to temptation is usually too great. Which is essentially what happened to Kyosuke. Frankly, while watching I expected the characters to be completely immersed in darkness and a kind of repetition of “Stepmother’s Sin” but, fortunately, the authorswent a different route.
