Description: Autopsy Cabinet (解剖狂室, Kaibou Kyoushitsu) is a Japanese 18+ visual novel from 1997 from iMAGE CLUB. The main character finds himself in a futuristic entertainment simulator EDEN, where you can “live” any scenario - in this case, a school drama, where the dark sides of ordinary-looking students and teachers are revealed.
This distribution is a complete amateur translation of the game text into Russian (all scenarios, all endings, dialogues, descriptions) plus an engine patch necessary for the Cyrillic alphabet to be displayed correctly (the 1997 engine initially supported only Shift-JIS).
Add. information: The translation was carried out with manual proofreading of each line relative to the Japanese original (not a machine translation “as is” - the rough automatic pass was run through a separate meaning check and manually corrected where the meaning was lost or distorted).
Due to the lack of source code, the patch was applied directly to the machine code of the executable file (byte-by-byte binary patching), so in some cases small visual artifacts are possible when the window size is increased, as well as slight sticking of some text characters.
