  • Born on April 17, 1954 in Paris.
    In his youth, he was educated in the artistic sphere, engaged in sculpture. He turned to the comic genre in the second half of the 1970s, and was printed in such magazines as Pilote, Fluide Glacial and Charlie Mensuel. The first Gibrat works published in Pilote magazine, in 1980 they also entered the ‘Visions Futees’ collection. In collaboration with Jackie Berroyer, Gibrat created in 1978 ‘Goudard’ comics for B.d. Comics. Subsequently, this comic series was continued in Charlie magazinesMensuel and Fluide Glacial.
  • Gibrat also worked on a commission basis, making illustrations for such editions as L’Ordinateur de Poche, Sciences Et Avenir and Je Bouquine.
